The story of how EGO kills LOVE

Once upon a time, there was an island called the "Feelings Island". It homed all types of feelings such as Happiness, Sadness, Love, Hatred, Ego, Care, Jealousy, Panic, etc. While they lived together and had a great time, each feeling played its own rule in an indefatigably glib manner, never drifting from their nature.

It was just another pleasant morning of sunrise, in this island. 'Jealousy' was the first one to rise, as it always wanted to be the first, it did not like others waking up before it. 'Care' was taking care of everybody else. 'Love' was loving everybody, spreading smiles and happiness. 'Hatred' was hating everybody and everything for one or the other reason. 'Ego' was sitting in one corner not mingling with anyone, as it felt that it was better than everybody else and no one was good enough for it to be friends with. It was going normal until 'Panic' alarmed everyone on the oncoming "Tsunami"

Love and Care immediately took charge and arranged boats for everyone to shift to the next safe island. Jealousy was the first one to get in. Hatred, hating and cursing this happening, got into the boat. Happiness was glad that it is going to a safe island and sadness was sad about leaving this island.  Panic and Care also got in. Love ensured that the boats moved safely carrying everyone. Care tied one last boat on the shore for Love to come.

What others did not notice but Love did was that Ego was sitting alone in the same corner oblivious to the happenings around it. While Love kept asking Ego to come with it, Ego kept refusing. Ego felt it was too good to go with Love. But Love still loved so it continued to persuade Ego to come with it.

Tsunami arrived and two lives were lost in that island.

Moral: Ego drowns anyway, but it takes away Love with it too. Wherever Ego exists, Love always gets killed. So, lets make sure that we kill this Ego to save the Love in our life.
