The Book “A Walk to Remember” truly lives up to its caption, as it takes the reader to an emotional walk. And the author Nicholas Sparks lives up to his words “First you will smile, and then you will cry-don’t say you haven’t been warned”. To put it short, it is one of those “marvellous” short stories of eternal love; short-yet very profound. It is about the two teenagers Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan, how the “Lord’s Plan” fetches them together in life; only to change the life of Landon “forever”. Landon is part of the crowd at high school while Jamie stands out, literally. Jamie is one of those rare girls, with the rarest innocence, selfless love, kindness and an unfailing faith in Lord Christ. She takes immense pleasure in helping others.
